ORVAL E. MONTGOMERY
Orval E. Montgomery of Glenwood died July 15. He was
78.
Mr. Montgomery was born on Sept. 6, 1914 in Prosser,
Wash., to Florence (Moore) and Floyd A. Montgomery. He married Wilma F. Chapman
in 1940 in Pasco.
They moved to Glenwood about 40 years ago. He worked
for the road construction crew for Klickitat County until his retirement
in 1976. He enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma of Glenwood; children,
Shirley Feller of The Dalles, Karen Hansen of Glenwood, and Derrel Montgomery
of Glenwood; brother, Marvin Montgomery of Glenwood; sisters, Audrey Klock
of Kennewick and Pearl Kendall of Benton City; eight grandchildren and seven
great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday at Mt. Adams Cemetery
in Glenwood.

MONTGOMERY
Orval E. Montgomery, 78, of Glenwood died July 15, 1995
at his home.
He was born on September 6, 1914 in Prosser, Wash. to
Floyd and Florence (Moore) Montgomery. Orval grew up in Prosser.
He married Wilma F. Chapman in 1940 in Pasco. They moved
to Glenwood about 40 years ago. He worked for the road construction crew
for Klickitat County until his retirement in 1976. He enjoyed to hunt, fish
and garden.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma of Glenwood; children,
Shirley Feller of The Dalles, Karen Hansen of Glenwood, and Derrel Montgomery
of Glenwood; a brother, Marvin Montgomery of Glenwood; and sisters, Audrey
Klock of Kennewick, and Pearl Kendall of Benton City; eight grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held July 19, 1993 at
Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood. Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of the
arrangements.
