O.D. FUNDERBURK FUNERAL HELD HERE MAY 16TH
Okla Dow Funderburk passed away at his home in White
Salmon May 11th at the age of 72 years. He was born in Pana, Illinois January
13, 1900.
He had retired from logging and had worked for the Mt.
Adams Power Tool Company of White Salmon.
Survivors are: his wife, Mary Funderburk of Hood River,
Oregon.
One son: Tom E. Funderburk of Olympia, Washington.
A step-son: Ernest Funderburk of Lyle, Washington.
Daughters: Willie Mossbrucker of White Salmon; Lorrie
Baker of Pasco, Washington.
Brothers: Stephen Funderburk of Hutchinson, Kansas; George
Funderburk of Stockton, California.
Five sisters: Bessie Sippy of Venita, Okla.; Nola Carter
of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Emma Hoggle of Pryor Okla.; Ellen Harrell of Miami,
Okla.; Willie Pitt of Bowie, Maryland.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 16th, at 10:30
a.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, Washington. Interment was
in the White Salmon Cemetery. The Rev. Mr. David E. Steckman of the Grace
Baptist Church of White Salmon officiated at the services. Mr. Mozart Burles
read the eulogy.
