OTIS L. ANDERSON
Mr. Otis L. "Bodo" Anderson, 85, of Goldendale, passed
away November 13, 1994 in Goldendale.
He was born on May 23, 1909 to Mickael and Wilhelmina
Anderson in Centerville on the family homestead, in the original log cabin
built by his grandparents when they settled here in 1871.
He attended eight years of school in the one room Halstead
School and graduated from Centerville High School.
Bodo was well known in the area for his many years of
work in construction of bridges, roads and homes, and in farming.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ruth Anderson;
one sister, Helen Anderson of Goldendale; two nieces, LaVerne Vranizan of
Seattle and Leona Conlee of Vancouver and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three
brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov.17 at
1 p.m. in the chapel of Erdman Funeral Home with Pastor Eldon Wiidanen and
Pastor Ray Hilman officiating. Interment was in the Centerville Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Bill Olson, Doyle Ensey, Neil Wiidanen,
Glen Smith, Alvin Randall and Chuck Conlee.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the
donors choice.
