OMA LEE MAUPIN
Oma Lee Maupin of Ryderwood, formerly of White Salmon,
died Monday, May 9, 1994 at Longview; she was 90.
She was born May 19, 1903 in Jackson, Ky., to Mr. and
Mrs. Banks.
Mrs. Maupin grew up in Kentucky and in September 8, 1921
married Banford Maupin. Together the couple lived in Kentucky until moving
to the White Salmon area in 1932 where they lived for many years.
She was an active member of the Klickitat County Senior
Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her husband Banford who
died in 1968, and two sons, Thomas Douglas died in 1964 and Melvin Charles
who died in 1974.
She is survived by her son James of Lyle; daughter Alley
Mulkey of Ryderwood; and brother Earl Banks of Kentucky. She had numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Maupin were held Friday May
13, at the Gardner Funeral Home; the Rev. Stephen Barnes officiated the service.
Contributions in her name may be given to Klickitat County
Senior Services.
The Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of all the
arrangements.
