DEATH SUMMONS OPAL YARNELL
Funeral services for Mrs. Bud H. (Opal) Yarnell, 60,
of White Salmon will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19 at Gardner's Chapel.
She was born on Jan. 13, 1902 at Monsaret, Missouri and
served as Clerk of the White Salmon School Board and secretary-manager of
the school cafeteria for 18 years, until her retirement for ill health in
June 1960.
Mrs. Yarnell died Tuesday Feb. 13 in a hospital at Exeter,
California where she and her husband had been spending the winter since last
Thanksgiving.
She is survived by her widower, Bud Henry Yarnell; one
son, Bucky of White Salmon; two brothers, Maurice P. (Mose) Triplett, also
White Salmon, and Kenneth H. Triplett of Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Hazel McEwen
of Vancouver; and two grand-children.

OPAL YARNELL DIES IN CALIFORNIA; EX-SCHOOL CLERK
Opal Leone Yarnell was born January 13, 1902 in Missouri
and died February 13, 1962 at Exeter, California, where she had been since
around Thanksgiving.
She leaves to mourn her her husband, Bud Henry Yarnell,
White Salmon and one son, Bucky Yarnell, White Salmon. Also two brothers,
Maurice P. Triplett, White Salmon and Kenneth H. Triplett, Seattle. A sister,
Mrs. Hazel McEwen, Vancouver, Washington. Two grand children.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 19th at 2 p.m.
at Gardners Funeral chapel with Rev. Roger Clevenger officiating.
