After an illness of only a few days, Otto Thiele died April 25 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Schweighoefer. Mr. Thiele was born in Berlin, Germany, Aug. 8, 1834. He came to this country six years ago and until the last two years has resided on a homestead at Trout Lake. He had been janitor of the school for the past two years and tho advanced in years did his work faithfully and well. He was much respected and liked by the schoolchildren who attended the funeral Saturday in a body and furnished the singing as well as many beautiful flowers. Mr. Thiele is survived by a son and a daughter in Berlin besides his daughter here.
