PAUL A. DAVENPORT
Paul Alexander Davenport died last week at the age of
77.
He was born June 21, 1901 in Pleasant Valley, the son
of Alex and May Davenport.
He married Sylvia Yeackel in 1923 and lived in Yakima
until 1936. He then moved to his parents in the No. 6 area. In 1960, he moved
to Centerville.
Survivors include his wife, Centerville; son Dr. Jack,
Goldendale and daughter Charl Schuster, Goldendale; eight grandchildren and
four great grandchildren; sister Nell Rauscher, Goldendale and brothers Leo
and Frank. A brother, Jim, preceded him in death.
Funeral mass was held Sept. 16 at Holy Trinity Catholic
Church, Goldendale, with Father John Marasciulo as celebrant. Pallbearers
included Craig and Brett Schuster, Bruce, Dave and A.J. Davenport and Paul
Crites. Interment was in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
