DOOLEY
Mr. Paul Dooley, 81, of Goldendale passed away Oct. 5,
in Goldendale. He was born on April 30, 1906 near Centerville to H.L. and
Lillie Dooley.
He graduated from Centerville High School and was united
in marriage to Eleanor Amundson on Sept. 9, 1933 in Goldendale. Paul farmed
south of Goldendale his entire life. He was a 50 year member of the Goldendale
Grange, one of the original members of the Klickitat County Sheriff's Posse
and served as president for several years, the No. 6 Riding Club and the
Wildlife Association. He enjoyed horseback riding and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Eleanor of Goldendale and
four brothers, Alfred of Klamath Falls, Ore., Earl of Pomeroy and Harvey
and Riley Dooley of Centerville. He is also survived by a sister, Rose Monehan,
of Potters Valley, Calif.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Oct. 8, in the
chapel of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Huenefeld of the
New Life Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial was in the Centerville
Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Bruce and Dale Cameron, Neil Kayser, Mel
Johnson, Pete Brokaw, and David O'Brien. Honorary pallbearers were Clarence,
Leslie and Walter Kelley, Max Maurer, Harold Eshelman and Delmar Allbritton.
