PARNESSA A. MONTGOMERY-MORRISON
Parnessa A. Montgomery-Morrison 31, of Glenwood, died Aug. 29, 2007, at
Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
She was born in Yakima, Nov. 18, 1975, to David J.
Morrison and Edith Nash.
She was raised and educated in White Swan and graduated
from Glenwood High School.
She coached the Glenwood Jr. High Girls basketball
program for the last 12 years.
Parnessa was currently working
for Elk Creek Logging in Glenwood.
She enjoyed her children's many activities and she
participated in basketball, volleyball, and rodeo where she was part of the
White Swan Rodeo Royalty in the early 90's. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing,
traditional activities and was a flagger and worked road construction running
equipment.
Survivors include her father, David Morrison, of
Harrah; mother, Edith Nash, of White Swan; two children, Kylie and Tanner
Montgomery, both of Glenwood; ex-husband, Clint Montgomery, of Glenwood; one
brother, John Morrison, of White Swan; and one sister, Bernadine Morrison, of
White Swan; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Dressing services were held on Aug. 31, at Colonial
Funeral Home.
Overnight services were Friday evening at the Toppenish
Creek Longhouse in White Swan.
Funeral services were held Sept. 1, at the Mt. Adams
Cemetery in Glenwood.
Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
