PALMER WANG DIES IN SEQUIM
Palmer C. Wang, 86, of Forks died May 13, 1978 in Squim,
following a long series of illnesses. He was buried in White Salmon, Wash.,
Tuesday, May 16.
Mr. Wang was born November 13, 1891 in Downing, Wisconsin,
to Mr. and Mrs. Iver C. Wang.
He came to Trout Lake, Wash., in 1900 where he grew up.
He was past master of the Trout Lake Masonic Lodge, and a 50 year member.
He was also an honorary life member of Mt. Adams Elks Lodge, and a member
of the Grange and the Eastern Star.
The Wangs moved to White Salmon in 1960. He was a logger
and worked at various other woods and mill related jobs. He was also a retired
school custodian.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Wang of Forks; three
sons, Martin, Long Beach, Calif.; Willard of Bingen, Wash.; Walter, Forks;
and three daughters, Jean Corum, White Salmon; Anita Aplin, Forks; Agnes
Nielsen, Forks.
He also has two sisters, Ruby Partin, New Pine Creek,
Oregon; and Irene Begin of Bingen, Wash.; 24 grandchildren and 20 great
grand-children.
Funeral services Tuesday, May 16, were conducted by the
Masonic Lodge at Gardner's White Salmon Chapel.
He was buried at White Salmon Cemetery.
