PRICILLA E. BOX
Pricilla Ellen Box, a native of Klickitat County, died
Feb. 10 in White Salmon at the age of 76.
She was born Jan. 3, 1911 to Etta Ruth (Zimmerman) and
Fred Enos Moore in White Salmon. She was raised in the Lyle area and attended
school in Lyle, including the Balch School. She lived for awhile on the coast
before returning to the Mid-Columbia around 1962. She married Wayne S. Box
in Winnemucca, Nev., in 1967. Mrs. Box was a homemaker who loved to hunt,
fish and camp, and a member of the Life of Christ Center, of The Dalles,
Ore.
She is survived by her husband Wayne, White Salmon;
daughters, Betty McLean and Marian Kelly, both of Lyle; son Alfred Nordstrom
of Roseburg, Ore.; sister Gladys Brubaker of Lyle, four grandchildren and
11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 13 at Gardner Funeral Home chapel,
with Pastor Ron Keyser officiating. Interment followed in the Lyle Balch
Cemetery.
