MRS. PERSONETT PASSES AWAY AT ROCKAWAY, OR.
Pearl Edna Personett resident of Rockaway, Oregon since
1966, passed away at Wheeler, Oregon on November 8. She was born to Mary
and Samuel Dalles on Sept. 1, 1897 in Morehouse, Missouri.
Her schooling and childhood were spent in and around
Morehouse and later she lived two years in St. Louis, Missouri before coming
to the White Salmon community in 1922. She was united in marriage to Arthur
K. Personett in Vancouver, Washington July 18, 1922. For many years her husband
owned and operated a garage and Oldsmobile agency in White Salmon and later
the Western Store.
Surviving besides Arthur Personett are: a daughter, Lucille
Blades (Mrs. Bob Blades) of White Salmon; three grandchildren; four
great-grand-children and one brother, Pard Dallas of DuBoise, Idaho. A son,
Howard, preceded her in death in 1939.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 11, 11 a.m.
at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon with Rev. David E. Steckman of
the Grace Baptist Church of White Salmon officiating. Interment was at White
Salmon.

PEARL EDNA PERSONETT
Pearl Edna Personett, a Rockaway resident since 1966,
died Nov. 8 at Rhinehart Memorial Hospital in Wheeler.
She was born Sept. 1, 1897 in Morehouse, Mo.
Memorial services were held Nov. 11 at Gardner's Funeral
Home in White Salmon, Wash. with Rev. David E. Steeckman officiating. Interment
followed at the White Salmon Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of a 53 years, Arthur;
a daughter, Lucille Blades, White Salmon; brother, Pard Dalles, DuBoise,
Idaho, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
