"Miss Dorothy Barnum Married"

     With all the rites and ceremonies due a member of his honored tribe, Pete Staihi, Klickitat Indian, ho was killed when the automobile driven by his friend, Caples Daze skidded and rolled down an embankment near Lyle, was buried in Balch cemetery, on the hill adjoining the town of Lyle. Old June Hunt, more than 80 years old, of Husum, medicine man of the Klickitat tribe, conducted the services. Staihi is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Staihi, and one brother.
