MRS. PEARL JEWETT CALLED

     Funeral services conducted by the Order of the Eastern Star, were held Saturday at Gardner's Funeral Home, White Salmon, for Mrs. Pearl Jewett, 60, a resident of this community for more than 25 years, who died suddenly Thursday of last week.
     She had been a leader in women's activities and a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star and had been president of the local Woman's Club.
     Surviving are her widower, Dr. George F. Jewett, a son, Edward; and one brother, Irving Timms, all of White Salmon.
