RICHES

     Phillip M. Riches died June 27, in Goldendale. He was born April 4, 1926 at Longview, Washington to Harold C. & Nettie Warnock Riches.
     His family moved to Goldendale in 1941. Phil worked for Pikes Pharmacy for 4 years and then formed a partnership with McKee's Pharmacy in 1974, the later becoming Riches Pharmacy.
     Phil served with the U.S. Army during WW II and the Korean Conflict.
     Riches is survived by wife Eulahla, seven children; Bob, Roberta Stewart, Phillip, Larry, Brian Karen and Tony. Five grandchildren Christopher, Melvin, Phillip, Nathan and Todd. Three brothers, Harold, John and Dick, and his stepmother Freida Riches.
     Full military services were held Tuesday at the Knosher Funeral Home with Leo Garner, Chaplain of Louis Leidl Post No. 116 American Legion presiding.
     Interment was in the Spring Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ron Moline, Norman Goree, Merle Smith, Charles Lenior, Don Bridgefarmer and Duane Larson.
