SMILEY RITES DUE THURSDAY

     Perry Smiley, Rt. 1, Ridgefield, died Wednesday in a Vancouver hospital. He was 79.
     Born June 19, 1874 in Indiana, Smiley had been a resident of Ridgefield for the past 17 years.
     Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Pioneer Gospel Assembly church with the Vancouver Funeral Chapel in charge. The Rev. H. Cameron Angel will officiate, and interment will be in the Pioneer cemetery.
     Smiley is survived by his wife, Stella May Smiley, Ridgefield; two sons, Ralph Smiley, Ridgefield, and Arthur F. Smiley, Forks, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Lasch, Vancouver; a brother, John Smiley, in Canada; seven grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

SMILEY - November 18, 1953, at Vancouver Memorial Hospital. Perry Smiley of Rt. 1, Ridgefield, Wash., aged 79 years. Widow, Stella May Smiley, Ridgefield. Two sons, Ralph Smiley, Ridgefield, and Arthur F. Smiley, Forks, Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Lasch, Vancouver; one brother, John Smiley, in Canada. Seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Resident of Ridgefield past 17 years. Born June 19, 1874 in Indiana, Mr. Smiley has been intrusted to the care of The Vancouver Funeral chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, November 20, 1953 at The Pioneer Gospel Assembly Church. Reverend H. Cameron Angel will officiate. Final interment will be in The Pioneer Cemetery.
