     The funeral of another old pioneer, Mr. Peter Thams, of Bingen, was held here last Friday, and he was buried by the side of his brother, who passed away and was buried here a year ago. They were both early settlers here. Mr. Oscar Gardner and Rev. Derby, of White Salmon conducted the funeral. Mr. Tham's niece and two nephews, known as the Hiningston boys were out to attend the funeral, also Mr. Ed Suksdorf, of Bingen.

     The funeral of Peter Tams was held Friday at the cemetery, where he was laid to rest. The Gardner funeral home conducted the burial, and Rev. Derby, of White Salmon, held the service. Mr. Tams was one of the very old pioneers of this valley. Quite a group of old pioneers attended the funeral to pay their last respects.

PETER THAMS

     Mr. Peter Thams, of  Bingen, Wash., was born in Germany, March 10th, 1851, passed away Dec. 7th, 1933.
     Funeral Services were conducted by Rev. Alfred E. Derby, burial was made at Glenwood, Wash.
     Mr. Thams, was an old time pioneer of this section of Washington. he is survived by _________ Mrs. Katrina Memminsen, of Seaside, Ore., and two nephews.
