PAUL BANNON CALLED LAST SUNDAY
The funeral for the late Paul Bannon was held at the
Catholic Church in this city yesterday, Rev. Lee officiating. The remains
were laid to rest in the I.O.O.F cemetery.
Paul Bannon, 52 years of age, passed away Sunday from
heart trouble. He had been in ill health for some years. He and his wife
came to White Salmon two months ago from Loraine, Ohio, for his health, and
lived in the Pleasant View district. He had worked practically all the time
since 1906 as a machinist for the Baltimore & Ohio railroad at Loraine,
Ohio. He was a member of the Eagles lodge of that place.
Surviving, besides his widow, are his father Michael
Bannon, of Clearfield, Pa., three brothers, Pete and John Bannon of Clearfield,
Pa., and James Bannon of Alaska, and one sister, Mrs. F.R. Cupples, of
Clearfield, Pa.
