PETERIS DEIDERS
Peteris V. Deiders, a longtime Trout Lake resident, died
April 18, 1987, at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon, at the age of 80.
Mr. Deiders was born Jan. 30, 1907 in Valmiera, Latvia,
to Maria (Lieper) and Petris V. Deiders. He was born and raised in Latvia.
He went into the Latvian Army and then went to work as a bookkeeper. He married
Dagmara Weinberg in Valmiera, Latvia on June 10, 1933. They came to Trout
Lake in 1949, raising their family there. He worked for Hollenbeck Mill and
then SDS Lumber Company until his retirement in 1972.
He is survived by his wife, Dagmara, Trout Lake; children,
Herbert V. Deiders, Inese B. Allaway, Vilhelms A. Deiders and Andris S. Deiders,
all of Trout Lake, Anita Langfield, Longview, Zigrida E. Simmons, Tacoma,
and John V. Deiders, Philadelphia, Miss.; a sister, Erika Pukis, Australia;
eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
