PAUL LADIGES
Paul William Ladiges, a lifetime Glenwood resident, died
Feb. 25, 1996, at his home in Dallesport, at the age of 79.
Mr. Ladiges was born April 13, 1916, in Glenwood,
to Elizabeth (Sweihefer) and Max Ladiges. He was a rancher most of his working
life and spent about 30 years on the operation of Hell Roaring Irrigation
System. Gold mining was a hobby of his.
He was a 50-year member of the Grange and Glenwood Pioneer
Association. He moved to Dallesport in 1990.
Mr. Ladiges is survived by his wife, Mary Ladiges,
Dallesport; daughters Marlene Murray, Glenwood, Leona Garner, Centerville,
Yvonne Bossert, Yakima; brother Max Ladiges, White Salmon; sister Lucille
Bolt, Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Ladiges will be held Monday March 1,
1996, at 1 p.m. at Pioneer Memorial Community Church in Glenwood, with Rev.
Greg Petrie officiating. Vault Interment will be at Mt. Adams Cemetery in
Glenwood.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Gorge in care
of Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, who was in charge of the arrangements.

Paul William Ladiges, 79, of Dallesport, passed away
February 25, 1996. He was born April 13,1916 in Glenwood to Elizabeth (Sweihefer)
and Max Ladiges. Paul was a lifetime resident of Glenwood. He moved to Dallesport
in 1990.
He was a rancher most of his working life and spent about

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ladiges; three daughters,
Marlene Murray of Glenwood, Leona Garner of Centerville and Yvonne Bossert
ofYakima; a brother, Max Ladiges of White Salmon; a sister, Lucille Bolt
of Portland; 7 grand-children and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at
Pioneer Memorial Community Church in Glenwood. Officiating will be Rev. Greg
Petrie and committal will be at the Vault Interment Mt. Adams Cemetery in
Glenwood.
Contributions may be given to Hospice of the Gorge c/o
Gardner Funeral Home of White Salmon.
