RALPH BALDWIN
A former resident of Lyle, Ralph Baldwin died at the
Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Sunnyside, Wa., March 15.
He was 69 years old, born in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was
married in 1928, and the couple moved to Washington in 1943, where he was
employed on the Hanford Nuclear Project. In 1945 they moved to Lyle, and
continued to make their home there until moving to Sunnyside in 1976. Mr.
Baldwin was a member of the Episcopal Church and a member of the Carpenters
Local of White Salmon.
He is survived by his wife, Almera Baldwin of Sunnyside;
two daughters, Delores Dean of The Dalles, and Belinda Heintz of Yakima;
two sisters, Mrs. Charles Dohrman of Sunnyside and Mrs. Irene Earth of Vancouver,
Wa.; one brother, Bill Baldwin of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and five grandchildren.
Services for Ralph Baldwin were held March 18 in the
Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with the Rev. Rusty Kimsey of St. Paul's
Episcopal Church, The Dalles, officiating. Interment will be in White Salmon
Cemetery.
