HAMLLIK

     Richard Allen Hamllik, born October 25, 1902 at Goldendale to Frank and Cora Hamllik, passed away at his home July 1 following a long illness.
     He lived in Goldendale most of his life, attending schools here, and was married to Elda Erkkila July 4, 1930. He was employed as a mechanic, for Yankee and Duffield Service Garage, for Radke's, and for Goldendale Equipment Company where he remained until his retirement. He was also a school bus driver on the Status Pass run until his retirement at 65.
     Preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Mr. Hamllik is survived by his wife Elva; by two daughters, Joyce Lawson and Janice Early; by two sisters Sylvia Weiss and Geneva Willis; by a brother Delbert, of Yakima; by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and by numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
     Funeral services were held July 5 to at the Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home, with Pastor George Sonray officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Curt Taylor, Alvin Randall, John Erkkila and Clinton Cosner. Active pallbearers were Keith Weiss, Floyd Weiss, Gary Willis, Richard Lawson, Greg McKinney and Ron Bazzell.
     Interment was in the Centerville cemetery.
