OBITUARY

     Mrs. Rebecca Ann Kinnan died at her home on Spring Creek May 17, 1919, aged 87 years 9 months and 11 days. She was born near Xenia, O., August 6, 1831. Formerly Miss Rebecca Ann Niswonger, she was united in marriage to Isaac P. Kinnan in 1853. To this union were born five sons and five daughters. She is survived by an only brother, T.A. Niswonger of Tacoma, Wn., three sons and three daughters: William H., Frank D., Mary C. and Allie R. of Goldendale, Jas. W. of Yakima and Mrs. Frona Peters of Hornick, Iowa.
     Early in life she became an earnest and devoted Christian, and throughout her life was a consistent follower of the meek and lowly savior. Almost her last words were that she was now ready and waiting the call of the Master.

     Mrs. Rebecca A. Kinnan a well-known and highly respected resident of Spring Creek, passed away on May 17th last, in the 88th year of her age. She was born in Ohio, and was formerly Miss Rebecca Ann Niswonger, and was united in marriage to Isaac P. Kinnan in 1853. To this union was born five sons and five daughters. She is survived by an only brother, residing at Tacoma; three sons, and three daughters: William H., Frank, Mary C., and Allie R., of Goldendale; James W., of Yakima; and Mrs. Frona Peters of Hornick, Iowa.
