ROMON PETRIN
RoMon A. "Smokey" Petrin, Corbett, died Jan. 9 of cancer
at Providence Hospital in Portland at the age of 51.
Mr. Petrin was born May 6, 1933, in Minneapolis, Minn.,
to Emil and Florence Petrin. He was a Portland Terminal Employee and operated
his own mechanics shop, Have Tools Will Travel. He was a member of the Springdale
Community Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, Corbett; two
daughters, Belinda Davis, Corbett, and Michelle Gilmer, White Salmon; two
brothers, Jerome Petrin, Tigard, Ore., and Wayne Petrin, Maine; and two
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Spencer, and his parents.
Services for Mr. Petrin were Saturday at 1 p.m. in the
Chapel of Mt. Scott Funeral Home, Portland. Interment services were held
Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Trout Lake Cemetery.
