RUTH A. STEPHENSON

Mrs. Ruth Ann Stephenson, 55, of Goldendale passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 1994 in Goldendale. She was born on September 6, 1938 at Glencoe, Okla. to Merl and Laura Rathbun. Ruth graduated from Sunnyside High School.
Ruth married Lloyd Stephenson on July 10, 1956 in Lewiston, Idaho. The family moved to Goldendale in 1964. Ruth was employed at The Goldendale Sentinel for many years as bookkeeper.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Zielinski of Goldendale; one son, Doug Stephenson of Goldendale; four grandsons; her parents, Merl and Laura Rathbun.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd in October 1989; one sister, Merle Jean also in 1989.
Ruth enjoyed gardening and the out-of-doors.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, March 31 at 11 a.m. at the Centerville Cemetery with Pastor Vernon Chase and Pastor Larre Kostenko of the Goldendale Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating. Ruth was surrounded by her family and friends.
Arrangements were under the care of Erdman Funeral Home.
