"Local Gleanings"

     The death of Mrs. Rachel Albina Watson occurred on May 28th at her home formerly the old Wylie place, 14 miles east of town. Deceased was 58 years of age and had lived in this vicinity for many years. She was a sister of Sam Shell, had several children and was well known and beloved to many. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hayes last Saturday, interment following in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The funeral was one of the largest held in that vicinity for some time.
