ROBERT THOMAS
Robert B. Thomas, a former White Salmon resident, died
January 16 in Goldendale at the age of 70.
Mr. Thomas was born June 8, 1914, in Corpus Christi,
Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Simpson H. Thomas. He came to White Salmon shortly
after his birth and lived here his entire life.
He married Clara Fern Bull in Portland, and was employed
at various local lumber mills.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his children, Vera Thomas,
The Dalles, and Robert A. Thomas and James Thomas, Kalispell, Mont., a sister,
Florence Thomas, White Salmon; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by his wife Nov. 21, 1963.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at the White Salmon
cemetery.
