Funeral services for R.C. (Andy) Anderson who passed away last Friday Dec. 1st was held at The Dalles on Monday of this week with burial here at the White Salmon. Gardner Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Andy Anderson was well known here, having lived here several years ago where he worked for the Standard Oil Co.. His wife Katherine and a son fourteen years of age are left to mourn his passing, as well as a host of friends. Their home is at Grass Valley. The community extends deepest sympathy to his family.

CHESTER ANDERSON RITES CONDUCTED THIS MORNING
Funeral services for Chester R. Anderson, 50, were held
in this morning that the Spencer & Libby chapel with the Rev. Hanson
of Portland officiating.
Mr. Anderson died at Grassy Valley Friday morning. A
resident of that community for nine years, he was born March 4, 1900, at
the Moro. A bulk oil distributor at Grass Valley, he was a member of the
Hood River Elks lodge and the Masonic lodge at Grass Valley.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Mary; a son, Dennis
Wilkie, both of Grass Valley; his mother, Sophie Anderson, and a sister,
Frances Anderson, both of Portland, and another sister, Mrs. Bessie Guyer
of Klamath Falls.
Burial rites were conducted by the Masons at the Odd
Fellows cemetery graveside in White Salmon, Wash.
