SERVICE HELD FOR MRS. ROSA FRANZEN

     Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 59, for Mrs. Rosa Capitolo Franzen, 86, longtime resident of Lyle, at Gardner's funeral chapel. The Rev. L.L. Robinson of Bingen officiated. Burial was in Balch cemetery, Lyle.
     Mrs. Franzen was born Aug. 10, 1868, in Illinois, and died Sunday, Dec. 12 at the Bingen residence of Mrs. Kate Lane who was taking care of her.
     The deceased is survived by three nieces: Mrs. John Brown and Mrs. Ike Bertschi, both of Lyle, and Mrs. C. Snedegar of Sacramento, Calif.
     Pall bearers as announced, were Russell Niblock, Homer James, Jim West, Byrd Clark, Hildor Kure and Martin Thomason.
