Rhoda Catherine See was born March 19, 1833 in Hardy
county, West Virginia. Her parents moved to Indiana and afterward moved to
Missouri when she was a small child, living there until her marriage to S.P.

husband, August 11, 1913. Since that time she has made her home with her
son George at Husum, Wash.
Grandma Kreps as she was familiarly called, was the oldest
member of the Camas Prairie Pioneer Association, in which she took great
interest, being a generous, kind, and benevolent disposition.

White Salmon, Wash., Mrs. Orpah Johnson, Scappoose, Oregon, also ten
grandchildren and a host of friends.

the age of 86 years, two months and four days.
The funeral was held from the Kreps home at Husum and
was one of the largest ever held in Western Klickitat County, large numbers
of friends and pioneers coming to pay last tribute to the deceased from Glenwood,
Trout Lake, White Salmon and other places. Burial took place in the Grange
Cemetery at Glenwood where the body of her husband rests.
