OBITUARIES
Rachel Silas, age 61, wife of Alex Silas, White Salmon,
passed away on Sunday April 25 at Skyline hospital here.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters,
Mrs. Louis Boothby of Portland, Or., and Mrs. Rosie Corbett, of Lapwai,
Ida.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Barracks
No. 2141 of World War I, of White Salmon. She was born on April 23, 1910
in Idaho. She was married in Stevenson on March 13, 1964.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 30th, at 9 a.m.
at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon. Father Wm. Shaw will conduct the
service with interment in the White Salmon Cemetery.
She is also survived by a son John F. Quaempts.
