ROBIN DEAN BERTSCHI
Robin Dean Bertschi, died at age 19 Aug. 26 in Lyle.
Funeral services were Aug. 30, officiated by the Rev. Jim Doak. Interment
was at Balch Cemetery, Lyle, according to the Gardner Funeral Home.
He is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bertschi
of Lyle; brothers Jerry Ray, U.S. Army, Panama Canal Zone and Howard Lee
of Lyle. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bertschi of Lyle and Mr. and Mrs.
Ray Carter of Yakima. Great-grandparents surviving
him are Ike Bertschi, Camas, Elmer Carter, Calif. and Cora Starkey, Kansas
City, Mo. He also is survived by uncles Jerry Carter, Milwaukie, Ore., and
Ron Carter, The Dalles, Ore.
Born August 28, 1957 in The Dalles, Ore., he was a graduate
of Lyle High School. He came to The Dalles two years ago and was a mechanic.
Family members request contributions be made to the White Salmon Masonic
Scholarship Fund for Lyle High School through Lodge Number 163.
