RAY D. CLARK

     Ray D. Clark was born May 23, 1885 in Yoncalla, Oregon. He moved to Trout Lake, Washington in 1918 and bought a farm there. He lived there and worked the farm for twenty-two years. On August 29, 1927 he married Florence M. Marshall. They moved to Rainier in 1940 and made it their home for the next twenty-four years. For the last two years they have made their home in Vancouver, Washington. Ray had been a farmer all of his life.
     He passed away February 8th at the Vancouver Memorial Hospital in Vancouver, Washington. He was 81 years old.        Surviving him is his wife; Florence M. Clark of Vancouver, Wash., Two sons; David Clark of rural White Salmon and Donald Clark of Carson, Washington and sixteen grandchildren.
     Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 14 at 1:30 p.m. at Gardner's Chapel in White Salmon. Interment was in the Trout Lake Cemetery. Pastor Duane Corwin of the Seventh day Adventist Church of Vancouver officiated.

FORMER TROUT LAKE MAN RITES HELD TUES.

     Ray D. Clark of Vancouver, Wash., died February 8 at Vancouver Memorial Hospital.
     Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon with burial in the Trout Lake Cemetery. Pastor Duane Corwin of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Vancouver officiated.
     Casket bearers were Jack Canfield, Ed Presler, Dale Presler, Timothy Luke, Orville Elmer and Emil Oelke.
     Mr. Clark was born May 23, 1885 at Yoncalla, Ore. He married his wife, Florence M. who survives him, Aug. 29, 1927. They farmed at Trout Lake from 1918 to 1940, when they moved to Rainier, Ore. They have been at Vancouver for the past two years.
     Two sons also survive him, David of White Salmon and Donald of Carson; and sixteen grandchildren.

Burial will follow at Trout Lake Cemetery. Garnder's Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
