RICHARD HARBOUR DIES
Richard Harbour, husband of the former June Hoctor of Goldendale, died of cancer in Pullman November 23, 1972. Graveside services were held here at IOOF Cemetery. Obituary is elsewhere.

RICHARD D. HARBOUR
Richard D. Harbour was born at Rosalia, Washington, March
25, 1921, and died November 23 at Memorial Hospital at Pullman.
Harbour married June Hoctor at Goldendale December 31,
1944. He was an associate professor of electrical engineering at Washington
State University. Harbour was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
the Pullman city and rural volunteer fire departments, the American Legion,
Moose Lodge and Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, four daughters,
a brother and five sisters.
Rosary was held Friday and Mass Saturday at Pullman.
Burial was at the Goldendale Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to
the WSU Scholarship and Development Fund.

Richard D. Harbour, 51, SW 510 Fountain, associate professor
of electrical engineering at WSU, died Thursday at Pullman Memorial Hospital.
Harbour was born March 25, 1921, at Rosalia, the son
of Charles and Lulu Harbour. He married June Hoctor at Goldendale, Wash.,
Dec. 30th, 1944.
He is survived by his wife and four sons, Charles R.,
Pullman and John R., William M. and Joseph D. all at the family home at Pullman;
four daughters, Mary A., Sally M. and Susan K., all of Pullman and Patricia
J., Portland; a brother, Fred T. Harbour, Lodi, Calif., and five sisters,
Mrs. Henry (Hattie) Wittorf, Colville, Mrs. Joseph (Alice) Spuler, Cheney,
Mrs. Gene, (Louise) Gifford, Spokane, Mrs. Roy (Zelda) Hollingsworth, Eniville,
Idaho and Mrs. Dorothy Schmidt, Spokane; a grandson, Cory.
Harbour was graduated from the Rosalia public schools
and received his BS degree in electrical engineering at that WSU in 1947.
He became a member of the faculty the same year, and received his master's
degree from WSU in 1950.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the
Pullman city and rural volunteer fire departments, the American Legion, Moose
Lodge and Knights of Columbus.
Rosary was scheduled Friday at Kimball Funeral Home with
mass to follow Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial was at the
Goldendale Catholic cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the WSU Scholarship and Development
Fund.
Pallbearers were Vernon P. Thompson, Albion; R. Frank
Knox, James Pyle, Glen L. Howard, L. Roy Brown, Jr. and Frank W. Brands,
Pullman.
Committal service was Nov. 26 in Goldendale Catholic
Cemetery at Goldendale.
