RICHARD SEXTON

     Richard Dean Sexton, Renton, died at his home at the age of 56, following an illness of several weeks.
     He was born April 6, 1936, in Taylor County, Iowa, and lived there for part of his childhood. His family moved to Washington in 1947. He graduated from Lyle High School in 1955 and in 1957 he married Barbara Hamm, Lyle. They lived in Renton throughout their married lives, except for two years when he served in the military.
     Mr. Sexton is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Catherine, a student at the University of Washington; a son, Scott, Spokane; his mother, Edith Marsh Sexton, Lyle; sister, Judy Thomas, Yakima; a brother, Allen Sexton, Dallesport; and 14 nieces and nephews.
     Memorial services for Mr. Sexton were held Friday in Renton, and graveside services were held at Balch Cemetery, Lyle, Saturday.
