OCCUPANT OF CABIN FOUND DEAD IN BED

R.E. Austin, a resident of White Salmon, was found dead in bed, apparently from natural causes about nine o'clock Tuesday morning. He had rented a cabin near the Carson Gardens in Carson on Sunday and was remaining there while he took a series of baths at the St. Martin Mineral Springs, reports last week's Stevenson Pioneer.
Henry Stell, owner of the cabins, made the discovery when he investigated reasons for not seeing a Austin around the place as usual. He knocked on the door, and receiving no response, entered to find the occupant in bed and lifeless. Coronary R.M. Wright was notified and Gardner's, White Salmon undertaker, was told to notify the family there.
According to Stelle, Austin was brought to the cabin Sunday by relatives from White Salmon. He was about 55 years old, the remains were taken to White Salmon late Tuesday.
