"Heard on the Streets"
Robert Avery, the sixteen-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Avery, died in this city, Saturday, September 24, 1921, after an illness of typhoid fever. Funeal services were held in the Chapman Undertaking parlors the past Monday, Rev. Louis Thomas, of the Methodist church officiating.

OBITUARY
Robert E. Avery passed away on Saturday last, after a short illness of typhoid fever. He was born in Mississippi County, Arkansas, Sept. June 5th, 1905, and came with his parents to Klickitat County in April, 1908, and has lived here since. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Avery, a brother, William and a sister, Clara. A younger brother was accidentally killed about a year ago. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. L. Thomas, on Monday, with interment in the Spring Creek cemetery.
