RUTH W. BAUGUESS
Ruth W. Bauguess, a BZ Corners resident since 1938, died
Sunday in Hood River, at the age of 76.
Mrs. Bauguess was born Nov. 23, 1912, in Breckenridge,
Mo., to Henrietta and Chester L. Edwards. She was raised in Missouri, marrying
Nummia B. Bauguess in Las Vegas, Nev., on April 19, 1934. She came to Washington
in the spring of 1935 and settled in Grand Coulee. She came to BZ Corners
in 1938 and had lived there ever since. Her husband died in 1958. She was
a member of the First Christian Church. She loved to sew, read and garden.
She did a lot of her own remodeling over the years.
She is survived by her children, Jimmy R. Bauguess and
Charles W. Bauguess, both of White Salmon, Anna Leah O'Donnell, Richland,
Carol Jean Yohn, Portland; sisters, Dolleva Jane Gregg, Bastrop, Tex., and
Mae Willis, Nampa, Idaho; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mrs. Bauguess will be held Wednesday
at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the White Salmon Cemetery.
