     The Lord has seen fit to call away from our midst Robert Edward Crocker.
     Deceased was born in Norway, May 16, 1871, and died in Centerville February 24, 1930, his age being 58 years, 9 months and 8 days. He came to Calumet, Michigan with his parents in 1872, and in 1877 he came to Centerville.
     He was united in marriage to Mary Josephine Hyrkas in 1892 and to this union was born one son. She died January 7, 1896. Again he was united in marriage July 12, 1902 to Tekla Mathilda Kaidera. They had four children, two daughters and two sons.
     He leaves to mourn, his widow, Mathilda, one son, August of Albany, Oregon, two daughters, Florence and Mrs. Arthur Basse, both of Centerville, one of daughter-in-law, one son-in-law and one grandson. Two brothers, Matthew of Centerville, and Jacob of Kent, Oregon, one sister, Mrs. Kate Dunn of Portland, Ore., besides a host of relatives and friends.
     Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Finnish Lutheran Church at Centerville, Wm. Basi officiating, with the interment in the Centerville Cemetery.
