GEORGE REINLAND
ROCKAWAY BEACH, Ore. - Former area resident George Reinland, 66, died July 26,
1999, at St. Mary Medical Center.
The memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph
Catholic Church, White Salmon, Wash., with the Rev. Tom Dahlquist officiating.
The graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Underwood (Wash.) Cemetery. A
reception will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary
Regional Cancer Center through Mountain View Funeral Chapel, 1551 Dalles
Military Road.
Mr. Reinland was born Nov. 4, 1932, in Underwood,
Wash., to Andrew John and Rosa Kapp Reinland. He attended schools in Underwood
and Moscow, Idaho, graduated from Pomeroy High School and attended Western
Washington University, Bellingham, for two years.
He served in the U.S. Navy two years during the Korean
War. He and wife Leslie Wallace Reinland had four children and lived in Dayton
for 20 years. He was active there in the volunteer ambulance and fire department
programs and the Columbia County Republican Central Committee. The couple
divorced.
He and wife Janis Nysoe later divorced. He worked in
property management in various locations throughout Washington, including Walla
Walla.
He married Nina Bosley. He enjoyed reading the history
of Walla Walla, Garfield and Columbia counties and the military, including naval
aviation. He had coached Little League.
Survivors include his wife, at her son's Touchet home;
a daughter, Tracy Peterson of Wenatchee; three sons, Mike Reinland of Walla
Walla, Andrew Reinland of Seattle and Pat Reinland of Spokane; a stepson, Gary
Clark of Touchet; his mother, of Spokane; a sister, Rosalie Rosenbach of Lake
Bay, Wash.; a brother, Max Reinland of Spokane; and four grandchildren. A
brother, Andrew Reinland, died in 1983.

Preceded in death by his father, Andrew John Reinland in 1975; and a brother, Andrew John Reinland in 1983.
