RUBY WALKER
Ruby E. Walker, Bingen, died March 28, 1997, at Skyline
Hospital in White Salmon, at the age of 75.
Mrs. Walker was born on Nov. 25, 1921, in Wren, Ore.,
to Lulu (Miller) and Bert G. Clark. She attended school in Trout Lake and
lived there until she married Michael Walker and moved to Bingen in 1938.
She lived there for the rest of her life.
Mrs. Walker attended the Bingen Assembly of God Church,
serving as trustee for several years. She was a member of the church for
22 years.
She is survived by her husband, Michael R. Walker, Bingen;
son Richard R. Walker, Bingen; daughters Marilyn R. Allison and Lois Brittle,
both of Sandy, Ore.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 1, 1997, at 2 p.m. at Gardner
Funeral Home in White Salmon. Interment was at the White Salmon
Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
