RODNEY JARVIS
Rodney Samuel Jarvis, a former White Salmon resident,
died Feb. 1 in Spokane at the age of 32. Mr. Jarvis had been comatose since
August 1982, with the cause still undetermined.
Mr. Jarvis was born Jan. 27, 1951. His parents died when
he was young and he was adopted by his grandparents. He came to White Salmon
in 1965, where he attended the Mountain Brook Grade School and graduated
from Columbia High School. He was a sawmill worker at SDS. He came to White
Salmon in 1955 and moved to Hunters in last January.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Jarvis,
Carson, his mother, Alice Jarvis, Oregon City, Ore.; one sister, Myra Richardson,
Carson; an aunt, Margie. Randall, White Salmon; and two uncles, Robert Jarvis,
Klickitat, and Charles Jarvis, Spokane.
Funeral services for Mr. Jarvis were held Monday at 2
p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with Dr. Richard Nathe officiating.
Interment was in the White Salmon cemetery.
