RUBY KORTHASE

     Ruby Fay Korthase, a longtime resident of Lyle, died Tuesday in Goldendale at the age of 80.
     Mrs. Korthase was born Jan. 1, 1902, in Joplin, Mo., to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mingus. She moved to Lyle in 1934, where she was a homemaker.
     She is survived by her daughters, Audrey O. Hylton, Lyle, and Joyce Hutchins, Lyle; two sisters, Doris Sellers, Goldendale, and Evelyn Christensan, Bellevue; eight grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.      Graveside services for Mrs. Korthase will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Joe Beauchamp officiating. Interment will be in Balch Cemetery, Lyle.
