RAYMOND F. STEVENS
A member of the Mt. Adams Elks Lodge No. 1868 and former resident of
Trout Lake, Raymond F. Stevens, 49, died last weekend at Seattle University
Hospital, Seattle.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge since 1963 and worked as head sawyer
during his several years at Trout Lake. He is survived by widow Barbara J.
in Ferndale where he resided until the time of his death.
He is also survived by son Dennis L. Stevens of Seattle; daughter Mrs.
Kathryn R. Young, of Tumwater; sisters Mrs. Ophie Haubner of Hillsboro,
Ill.; Mrs. Louise Simpson of Pana, Ill.; Mrs. Margaret Leathham, of
Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Nellie Jane Schillings, Vandalia, Ill.; Mrs. Hazel
Fenner, Decatur, Ill.; and Mrs. Audrey Rodgers, Danville, Ill.
Services were Wednesday at Trout Lake's Presbyterian Church.
Remembrances may be sent to the Hutchinson Research Center, 1124 Columbia
St., Seattle, 98104, according to the family. Funeral arrangements were made
by Bleitz Funeral Home of Seattle.

RAYMOND STEVENS
Raymond Frank Stevens, 49, of 510 Vista Dr., Ferndale, passed away in
Seattle Saturday, Oct. 29. He lived in Ferndale for the past 11 years and
was employed at Intalco.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean; a son, Dennis
of Seattle; a daughter, Kathryn of Olympia; six sisters, Margaret Leatham of
Portland, Audrey Rogers of Danville, Ill., Hazel Fenner of Decatur, Ill.;
Orphie Haubner of Hillsboro, Ill., Louise Simpson of Pana, Ill., and Nellie
Jane Shillings of Vandalia, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Moles
Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donald Slater officiating. Funeral services
were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Mount Adams Presbyterian Church in
Trout Lake.
