ROSS AND MARIE BIGGS

     Roscoe G. Biggs, who was killed in an automobile accident October 27, 1970, was born in Peoria, Ill. April 26, 1897. He was buried in the Catholic cemetery here October 31, after services held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Father Patrick Byron officiated, assisted by Fr. Green who was formerly a pastor here.
     He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, of the American Legion and the Veterans of World War I.
     His wife, Marie Francis Biggs, was born April 1, 1901 in Marshalltown, Ia. and died November 25 in Yakima as a result of the same accident. Services were held in Goldendale at the same church November 28 with Fr. Byron officiating, assisted by Father Martin Skeehan. She was also a member of Holy Trinity and of the auxiliaries of both veteran organizations.
     Born Marie Lynett, she was married to Ross in 1923. They are survived by three children: John C. of Seattle, Louise Hoffeditz of Portland and Jean (Happy) Croteau of Renton, also nine grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her brother, John Lynett of Toledo, Or. and he by his sister, Mrs. Walter Burns, Portland. The couple lived in Portland some 30 years.
