LIVED AT LYLE FOR 73 YEARS

     Funeral services were held at Gardner's chapel last Saturday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. for Reuben H. Barlow, 84, resident of Lyle since 1896.
     The Rev. Roger Clevenger of Bethel Congregational church, White Salmon, officiated. Burial was in Balch cemetery west of Lyle.
     Pall bearers were Frank Hunsaker, Charlie Jensen, Noble McCredy, Frank and Bill Leaton and Jack Duus.
     Mr. Barlow was born Jun 6, 1873 at Fremont City, Michigan, the son of Irving and Ann Barlow. He died at Skyline hospital Wednesday, Feb. 19. He never married.
     He is survived by six cousins: Frank Leaton of Glenwood, Ethel Jensen of Sunnyside, Orpha Duus and Cassie Bertschi of White Salmon, Hazel McCredy of El Cajon, California.
