LAUREL RANCHER PASSES AWAY
Funeral services were held Monday, November 16, at Gardner's
funeral chapel in this city, for the late Robert Henry Hoffman, who passed
away after an illness of six months in the West Klickitat General Hospital
in this city. Interment was in the White Salmon Odd Fellows
cemetery.
Mr. Hoffman was born in Ohio on November 10, 1865 and
was 77 years and 3 days old. He had lived in the Laurel district for the
past twenty years. He is survived by his widow, Maude Hoffman, and four
daughters, May McAulty, Klamath Falls, Oregon; Myrtle Burris, White Salmon;
Nellie Drake, Seattle and Sara Lunblade, Seattle; three sons; Henry Elbert
Huffman, of Dayton, Washington; Robert Michel Hoffman, Oakland, California,
and Earl Hoffman, of Seattle.
