ROBERT H. PIMLEY
Graveside services were held Saturday, July 29, for Robert
H. Pimley of Lyle who died July 25 in White Salmon. He was 80.
Mr. Pimley was bon July 11, 1909, in Sacremento, Calif.
He was raised in California and worked for that state's highway department
for many years.
He married Stella S. Quinton Oct. 28, 1927, in Sacremento.
The couple moved to Lyle in 19501 and owned a turkey
farm for about three years.
Mr. Pimley worked as a logger until his retirement in
1971.Mr. Pimley is survived by his children James Pimley of Lyle, Steve Pimley
of Lyle, Janice Sauter of The Dalles, Ore., and Linda Dohrman of Yakima;
brother, Wayne Pimley of Sacremento; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Stella, who died
in 1976, and his son Richard.
Rev. Les Haarstad officiated at Saturday's service. Committal
was at Lyle Balch Cemetery.
