RONALD JOE CARTER
Baby, Ronald Joe Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Joe
Carter, of White Salmon passed away at a hospital in Portland November 11.
He was born August 12, 1956 at White Salmon. Also surviving are the grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. William Katt of White Salmon and Mr. and Mrs. R. Olen of White
Salmon.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 15, 11
a.m. at the Gardner's Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Schmidt officiating.
Interment will be in the White Salmon Odd Fellow Cemetery.

CHILD FAILS TO SURVIVE KNIFE
Ronald Joe Carter was born at Skyline August 12, 1956
and died at the Emanuel hospital in Portland about 10:30 p.m. Monday, November
11. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Joe Carter of White Salmon.
The 15 month old child underwent surgery when only two
days old to correct a congenital fault in his esophagus. Monday he underwent
another operation for further correction but died in the recovery room.
Funeral service will be held at Gardner's Friday, November
15 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mr. Paul Schmidt of Our Savior Lutheran Church,
Bingen officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery, White Salmon.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Katt and Mr. and Mrs.
R. Olen, all of White Salmon.
