ROY SPINO SHOOTS SELF IN FOREHEAD
Roy Spino, 47-year-old Wahkiacus Indian, died at Klickitat
Valley Hospital Monday night at 8 o'clock, two and a half hours after he
had shot himself in the forehead with a .32 Savage automatic pistol. Sheriff's
office men could ascribe no motive for Spino's suicide. He had been in good
health.
X-rays taken at the hospital indicated the bullet lodged
in Spino's neck below the left ear. He was brought here by Clarence Phillips
after the shooting at Spino's home. Attending physician was Dr. John Libby.
Spino is survived by his wife and children of Wahkaicus.

INDIAN DIES BY OWN HAND
Roy Spino, 47, Wahkiacus Indian, died at 8 p.m., Monday,
Sept. 27, in Klickitat valley hospital of a gun wound, self-inflicted at
his home about 5:30 p.m. the same day.
Spino, who shot homself between the eyes with a .32 Savage
automatic for no apparent reason, was still alive when Sheriff E.C. Kaiser
arrived. he was rushed to Goldendale by Phillip's ambulance. Spino is survived
by his wife , Louise, and a large family.
